A ClearStep Forward for Invisible Teeth Straightening

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017

Have you always wanted straight teeth? Are you thinking about having orthodontic treatment? Many people who come and see us have wanted a more attractive smile for years, but the prospect of wearing unsightly braces has always put them off. The good news is that there have been major developments in the world of orthodontics, and today, you can enjoy incredible results without worrying about your looks thanks to invisible braces like ClearStep.

What is ClearStep?

ClearStep is a clear brace system, which uses a series of custom-made removable appliances to gently steer the teeth into the correct position. These braces are very similar to Invisalign aligners and they look like a clear, sleek and delicate version of a mouth guard worn for sport. These braces are made entirely from high-grade, transparent plastic, so they cannot be seen when you smile. The braces slide over the teeth and they produce gentle forces, which move the teeth quickly and painlessly.

What does the treatment process involve?

With ClearStep, you don’t use a single brace. Rather than wearing the same brace for the duration of treatment, you switch your aligners over after 2 weeks, going through the sequence in order. It’s important to make sure you wear each brace for around 21 hours per day for the best results. You can take your braces out to eat, drink, and clean your teeth.

Who can benefit from ClearStep?

ClearStep is a versatile system, which is suitable for most clients over the age of 14 years old. It is often recommended for those with minor or moderate orthodontic issues and it is a popular choice for those who would prefer an invisible, removable brace to a fixed brace.

If you’re keen to find out if ClearStep could be a good option for you, give us a call today and book a consultation.

Comparing Removable Brace Solutions in the Heart of Liverpool

Wednesday, July 5th, 2017

If you’re searching for a convenient orthodontic treatment in the heart of Liverpool, you’ve come to the right place. Often, when patients come to us, they’re worried about how wearing braces will impact their lives. With removable braces, there’s minimal disruption, and you can carry on eating, drinking and cleaning your teeth as normal. If you like the sound of removable braces, here are some of our most popular options:

Invisalign: Invisalign is one of the world’s leading orthodontic treatments. A number of patients choose Invisalign because it allows them to secretly undergo treatment. Invisalign aligners are made from clear plastic, and they are virtually invisible when you smile. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign uses a series of aligners, rather than a single brace. Each aligner is shaped differently to encourage tooth movement, and the fact that the braces are removable gives you freedom and flexibility. It also makes life much easier when it comes to keeping your teeth clean and you don’t have to worry about eating in public and getting food trapped in your brace.

Inman Aligner: the Inman Aligner is a removable brace, which is ideally suited to patients who have minor issues that affect the teeth at the front of the mouth. This brace works rapidly, with an average treatment time of around 16 weeks. The aligner isn’t completely invisible, but it is much more discreet than traditional fixed braces.

Clearstep: Clearstep is similar to Invisalign, but it is generally recommended for patients who need only a small amount of movement. Clearstep braces are made from transparent plastic and they offer a very discreet solution. Clearstep braces are designed to be removed when you eat and brush your teeth, so you should find that they fit into your normal daily routine very easily.

Which Clear Braces Are Right For You?

Friday, February 10th, 2017

More and more people are choosing to have braces, and one of the main reasons is the introduction of invisible braces. In the past, patients particularly adults, were reluctant to have orthodontic treatment because they didn’t want the hassle or stress of wearing visible braces. Braces have never been something that boosts your street cred, but now, everything is different. With clear braces, you can achieve the smile you’ve always wanted without having to worry about your appearance or what other people think. If you’re considering invisible braces, here are some of the most popular clear brace treatments.

Invisalign

Invisalign is one of the world’s leading orthodontic systems. It’s a great option for patients who want to undergo treatment without compromising their image or self-esteem in the process. Invisalign aligners are made from transparent plastic, and this means that they’re virtually undetectable when you smile. They’re also removable, so you can eat without any anxiety about getting food trapped in your teeth and clean your teeth without any hassle at all. Invisalign is usually recommended for patients with minor or moderate orthodontic concerns.

Clearstep

Clearstep braces work in a very similar way to Invisalign. They are clear, removable braces, which slide over the teeth in a similar way to a mouth guard. Clearstep may be a cheaper option, and it can be a viable choice for most patients over the age of 14.

Perfect Clear

Perfect Clear uses a series of bespoke K positioners to gently guide the teeth into position. These positioners are similar to the aligners used by Invisalign and Clearstep. Treatment time will depend on the nature of your orthodontic needs and the amount of movement required.

CFast10

CFast braces offer an alternative to the removable braces mentioned above. These clear braces are fixed braces. You may assume that fixed braces are highly visible, but with CFast, you can enjoy the reliability of fixed braces, as well as discretion. CFast braces are very delicate, and they are made from clear and tooth-coloured parts, which makes them much less noticeable than traditional metal braces. CFast treatment is ideal for those who have problems that affect the social 6, the front teeth. The average treatment time is around 6 months.

We understand that for many patients, aesthetics are everything, and we are delighted to have an impressive array of clear brace systems on offer. If you’d like to learn more, or you’re wondering which brace would be best for you, why not ring us today and book a consultation?

Improve Your Confidence with Perfect Clear Braces in the Heart of Liverpool

Saturday, July 26th, 2014

One of the main reasons people worry about having braces is their image. Braces can be unsightly and unattractive and this can make you feel less confident, especially in social settings. Thankfully, we have options available for patients who have these concerns and our amazing clear braces will help you to feel confident during the treatment process.

Advantages of clear braces

Clear braces give you the opportunity to feel more confident during the treatment process when you have braces. With clear braces, you can smile without worrying about what you look like or how others perceive you because you are wearing braces. Clear braces are also a great option for adults who have professional roles and rely on face to face contact as part of their job description and would like to maintain a certain image, as they produce incredible results without anyone being able to see the brace.

Our clear brace treatments

We offer a range of clear brace options to suit patients with all kinds of orthodontic issues and to cater for patient’s varying preferences. Our treatments include Invisalign, Clearstep and Perfect Clear.

These systems are aligner treatments, which use removable appliances to gently guide the teeth into position and smooth out problems with misalignment. Invisalign is one of the world’s leading orthodontic treatments and it has become extremely popular, as more and more people look for a discreet alternative to fixed braces. Clearstep is similar and both treatments use a series of bespoke aligners, which are worn for 2 weeks at a time in a set order until treatment is complete. Perfect Clear uses specially designed K positioners to reposition the teeth.

Say Hello To A Straighter Smile With Clearstep Braces In Liverpool

Wednesday, June 11th, 2014

Have you ever dreamed of a perfectly straight smile? Well, now your dreams can come true, thanks to our amazing orthodontic treatments! If you’re searching for a discreet, comfortable treatment that works quickly and promises incredible results, allow us to introduce you to ClearStep.

What is ClearStep?

ClearStep is an aligner system that’s capable of correcting a wide range of orthodontic issues. It uses a series of custom-made aligners, also known as positioners, to guide the teeth and gently move them into the correct spot for a truly beautiful smile.

ClearStep aligners are removable and they are made from clear plastic, so you can hardly notice them. This not only means that you don’t have to deal with comments or judgements from others, but you can smile with confidence during the entire treatment process.

Who can benefit from Clearstep?

Clearstep is suitable for a wide range of patients with minor and moderate orthodontic issues and is an excellent option for those who are wary of visible braces and would prefer a removable appliance to a fixed brace. We do not recommend this treatment for patients under the age of 14, but otherwise it is a good match for most patients.

How does Clearstep work?

ClearStep works by using a series of aligners to move and straighten the teeth. Each one of the aligners is slightly different and the changing shape accommodates tooth movement. Each aligner is worn for two weeks and then swapped for the next in line until treatment is complete. It is important that the aligners are worn in the correct order and that they are in place for at least 21 hours per day. The aligners are designed to be taken out when you brush your teeth and when you are eating, which makes it much easier to enjoy your food and keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.

The Popularity Of Removable Braces In Liverpool

Saturday, April 19th, 2014

Removable braces are very popular, especially for patients with more minor orthodontic issues which do not require a huge amount of tooth movement. Removable braces have a number of advantages and we are delighted to offer some of the world’s removable brace systems, including Invisalign, Perfect Clear and Clearstep.

What are the benefits of removable braces?

Many patients prefer a removable appliance, rather than a fixed brace, because this option gives them more flexibility and control. Removable braces can also be better for oral health because you can continue brushing your teeth in the same way as before you started treatment and there is no concern about getting food stuck in the brace, as it is removed when you eat.

Removable braces are also easy to clean and maintain and they do not leave marks on your teeth, which is a risk with fixed braces due to the adhesive used to stick the brace to the teeth.

Our treatments

We offer some of the world’s most popular removable brace treatments, including Clearstep and Invisalign, which use a series of bespoke aligners to reposition the teeth and produce a gorgeous new smile without anyone else even being able to notice the brace. These aligner systems are a great choice for people who are image conscious and those who are worried about the stigma associated with wearing a highly visible brace.

Are removable braces suitable for everyone?

Removable braces are suitable for most people, but there may be scenarios when a fixed brace would be preferable. This is usually the case when a patient has more complex needs and more intensive treatment is required. During your consultation, we carry out checks to make sure that removable braces are viable and we will also discuss other options and possibilities with you to help you choose the treatment that suits you best.

Introducing Clearstep Clear Aligners To Patients In Liverpool

Friday, April 11th, 2014

If you’re looking for a brace, which straightens the teeth without impacting upon the look of your smile, allow us to introduce you to Clearstep.

What is Clearstep?

Clearstep is a clear brace system, which uses removable aligners to gently move and reposition the teeth. Clearstep is a discreet alternative to fixed braces, which enables you to enjoy an amazing new smile without worrying about how your smile looks or what other people think about your braces when you have treatment.

Clearstep offers many advantages because the aligners are light and they use gentle forces, which helps to reduce discomfort. Once you get used to wearing the aligners and remembering to swap them every fortnight, the treatment process is very simple and the results are great!

The Clearstep process

Clearstep treatment involves wearing a series of aligners, rather than a single appliance. Each aligner is worn for around 2 weeks and the series continues until treatment is complete; all the aligners are different and the aim is to guide the teeth into the correct position. Clearstep aligners are taken out to eat and clean the teeth.

Who is the best candidate for Clearstep treatment?

Clearstep is ideal for patients with moderate or minor orthodontic issues who are looking for a more discreet solution than fixed braces. Removable braces are a popular choice because they give your more flexibility and make tasks, such as eating and brushing your teeth, easy. If you have complex issues, which need a lot of movement, this may not be the best option, but our dentists will be happy to go through other treatments with you. We do not generally recommend Clearstep for patients under the age of 14 years old.

ClearStep the Clear Brace System Taking the City of Liverpool by Storm

Friday, June 8th, 2012

The ClearStep system is an invisible brace designed to help you achieve your perfect smile by straightening your teeth whilst also addressing other issues such as gapped, crooked or overlapping teeth.

What are the advantages of ClearStep?

ClearStep braces have many advantages that make it stand out as the clear choice when choosing an invisible brace. These include:

  • They are undetectable as they are made from clear plastic thus making them almost invisible and pretty hard to detect even on closer inspection.
  • They can be worn by people of all ages from children to the elderly.
  • They are removable and therefore they can be taken out for a variety of different reasons such as brushing your teeth, eating, drinking or even attending an important event.
  • Finally they are effective as they can treat a number of issues from tooth crowding to bite problems without the need for brackets and wires.

What does ClearStep treatment involve?

The ClearStep system process is carried out over four stages. During the first stage you will undergo an initial consultation to decide whether the system is right for you. During stage two you will have x-rays, photographs and impressions taken of your smile, to provide the dentist with a more detailed analysis of your teeth. On the third stage, if all is well and you are happy to proceed with the treatment your ClearStep brace will be created especially for you. The final stage will require you to attend a number of check-ups and assessments with your dentist.

You will wear your aligners in a certain sequence for about two weeks per stage to help gradually move your teeth to the desired position. Treatment tends to take 9-18 months.

Patients throughout the City of Liverpool and the UK can experience invisible tooth movement using ClearStep clear aligners, which we provide at Liverpool Dental Implant and Aesthetic Spa.

ClearStep is the Clear Choice for Patients in Liverpool Looking for Invisible Braces

Friday, April 27th, 2012

Noticeable metal braces are often associated with teenage orthodontics, but unfortunately, crooked teeth do not always discriminate on age and a more discreet alternative to ‘train tracks’ may be preferable to people past their teenage years. For those people ClearStep may be their best option, to straighten their teeth without anyone else realising they are undergoing orthodontic treatment.

ClearStep are virtually unnoticeable clear braces, which can help you achieve a naturally straight smile while remaining completely unnoticed. As well as the obvious cosmetic benefit, ClearStep can also provide a more comfortable experience than metal braces, which can inflame and irritate the gums, as well as a more convenient one, as you can take them off when you eat, meaning no food will become trapped.  The ability to remove ClearStep also helps maintain excellent oral hygiene during treatment, something that can be neglected with metal braces, often leading to future dental health problems.

Your ClearStep treatment starts with a consultation, to ascertain whether the ClearStep treatment is suitable for you. The majority of orthodontic issues can be treated using ClearStep, however, if the treatment isn’t for you we will find another solution to your problem.

If you are deemed suitable a mould of your mouth will then be taken, as will several photographs, which will then be turned into a 3D model of your mouth. Your personal clear aligners will be produced based on this model, which you will then pick up from the practice. These aligners are then changed every two weeks in order to gradually move your teeth into a straight and beautiful smile.

ClearStep braces have revolutionised the way adults straighten their teeth and eliminate all need for thick noticeable wires and uncomfortable brackets.
