About Botox
Botox is a non-invasive treatment, which is particularly effective at battling lines and wrinkles. It is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A, which is injected into targeted zones of the skin to create a completely smooth complexion. Botox works by suppressing the action of the facial muscles and is excellent for crow’s feet, laughter lines and folds on the forehead.
Juvederm and Restylane
Juvederm and Restylane are filler treatments, which use ingredients found naturally in the body to add volume to the skin and enhance definition around the facial features. In addition to giving plumpness to the skin, fillers can also be used to make the lips look more voluptuous.
Fillers are a means of reviving the skin when there is an absence of collagen in the skin. The amount of collagen in the body decreases as you age and the skin loses firmness. With fillers, we can restore the natural bounce of youthful skin and create a smoother, softer complexion by reducing the visibility of lines, folds and wrinkles.
What does facial treatment involve?
Facial treatment at Liverpool Dental Spa is simple, stress-free and quick. Sessions usually last between 15 and 30 minutes and the process is really straightforward. During your consultation, we will explain what is going to happen and chat to you about the areas of your skin you want to treat. When you come in for treatment, we will inject Botox or filler into these areas of the skin. We use a very fine needle to minimise pain and we can use mild anaesthetic to numb the skin. After we have finished, you can head home or back to work and start enjoying the results of your treatment. The results of Botox and filler treatment usually last between 3 and 8 months.
