Perfect Clear Braces Available For Patients In Liverpool

Wednesday, December 19th, 2012

All the orthodontic patients’ today are looking for higher level of discretion when it comes to braces. Currently there are many innovative invisible aligners available that can be used for discreet treatment, and this includes the very efficient Perfect Clear system.

Perfect Clear uses the unique K positioners to move the crooked or misaligned teeth into alignment. Each aligner is fabricated as per the requirement of each patient, which is why the impressions of the teeth and mouth are taken prior to their creation. Every new aligner will gently and gradually correct the smile.

Perfect Clear braces better than orthodontic options

The K positioners used with the Perfect Clear system remain discreet during the treatment. This makes this treatment a great option for those who would not want to attract any attention to the treatment appliances. Many people who feel that their smile is awkward would not want to wear braces to get it fixed because they do not want to make their situation worse. The solution provided by Perfect Clear braces will suit even those who would like to keep their treatment hidden, as the braces will remain discreet all through the treatment.

Perfect Clear aligners can be removed for eating and cleaning, which means debris and plaque can be effectively remove. This greatly reduces the risk of oral diseases.

What to expect with Perfect Clear Braces

Patients, who are treated with Perfect Clear systems, receive improved appearance of their teeth, smile and face. This overall improvement of the face greatly boosts their self-confidence. This also results in higher standard of dental health. The bite is also levelled to improve the functioning and alignment of the jaw. Initially the Perfect Clear positioners can temporarily affect the speech. Patients might experience a slight lisp for the first few days, after which the mouth will adjust to the new device.

Clear Braces For a Discreet Natural Look In Liverpool

Thursday, August 2nd, 2012

Straight teeth are desirable, we all know that. However wearing metal braces is not so desirable. Thankfully there is an alternative that provides the same results as the traditional metal brace but is virtually undetectable to onlookers. Perfect Clear is a form of invisible aligners which can be used to correct the same problems as traditional braces without the embarrassment.

How do Perfect Clear aligners work?

Perfect Clear K positioners are made from clear plastic and are completely removable, so even when you have them on, no-one will know that you are wearing them. There will be a series of aligners used during the treatment to enable the movement of the teeth from the starting point to the desired finishing point. Each new set of aligners will slowly move the teeth into a new position until the final position has been achieved. Treatment time varies, but in general for both upper and lower teeth to be realigned, the treatment time would be around 18 months.

Are there any benefits?

Because the Perfect Clear K positioners are removable it means that they can be removed for special occasions or events. It also means that while eating and drinking you can have them removed. This makes maintaining good oral hygiene much easier. Also the aligners are easily cleanable as well.

As with any new device that is fitted orally, the aligners may have a temporary effect on speech. However this usually works itself out within a week or so, once the mouth has had time to adjust. Because they are carefully designed there will be no soreness or rubbing, however gentle pressure would be felt on the teeth as they are moved by each set of aligners.

Perfect Clear Braces in Liverpool for Discreet Orthodontic Treatment

Thursday, July 5th, 2012

Problems such as crooked teeth, gaps between teeth or teeth that stick out are not at all uncommon, but they can still cause lack of confidence. However, the solution to such problems, wearing orthodontic braces, can seem just as embarrassing to some people as the original concern. Help is at hand though at Liverpool Dental Implant and Aesthetic Spa in Liverpool with the innovative new Perfect Clear braces, for discreet orthodontic treatment.

What is Perfect Clear?

The Perfect Clear system involves the use of custom-made ‘invisible’ aligners that fit over the teeth. After having taken impressions of your teeth, aligners will be made to fit your specific tooth and mouth shape, to help to encourage your teeth into the correct position using unique K positioners. The aligner looks like a clear plastic mould which sits on top of the teeth, and as your teeth gradually change position, you will be given different aligners to help continue treatment.

Why is Perfect Clear preferable to other treatments?

The Perfect Clear braces are, as the name suggests, clear, and so cannot be seen unless you look very closely. This means that it is possible to correct cosmetic or orthodontic issues with teeth without the need for obvious, traditional ‘train-track’ braces or cumbersome retainers. The Perfect Clear system is thus perfect for people who are already self-conscious about their teeth, and may feel that wearing a brace would cause further embarrassment. In addition, the Perfect Clear braces are removable, meaning that there is far less possibility of bad oral health than with other types of brace, as they are very easy to clean: simply remove the aligners and rinse them to ensure that food particles do not build up in them. They can also be removed for eating, to make this even easier. Perfect Clear braces will allow you to have better oral health, improved bite function and better jaw alignment, without the need for any obviously visible orthodontic treatment.
