Perfect Clear Braces – The Secret to Invisible Straightening

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016

Many people come to us with enquiries about modern braces. Often, discretion is top of their list of priorities when it comes to choosing a treatment. In the past, you couldn’t achieve a straight smile without wearing bulky braces. Today, it’s a very different story. You can enjoy a beautiful smile without anyone even realising that you’ve had a brace.

One invisible option we’re delighted to offer our clients in Liverpool and beyond is Perfect Clear.

The ins and outs of Perfect Clear treatment

Perfect Clear braces are made entirely from transparent materials, and they are designed to straighten the teeth with complete discretion. Once the custom-made removable clear plastic appliance is in place, it’s virtually impossible to spot. Perfect Clear uses a series of specially designed appliances known as K Positioners, to gently move and reposition the teeth, creating a beautiful new smile.

The benefits of Perfect Clear

Perfect Clear is not just a means of straightening your teeth in secret. This system also offers additional benefits. A removable brace gives you much greater flexibility. You can eat and drink normally, and you can brush your teeth as you did before. You simply remove your brace and then insert it once you’ve finished your meal or cleaned your teeth. Perfect Clear braces are also designed for comfort.

Are these braces suitable for me?

Perfect Clear is ideally suited to patients who have minor orthodontic issues; it is not generally recommended for those who need a lot of movement. If you think you may be interested in Perfect Clear, and you’d like to see if you’re a good match, why not ring and book a consultation? When you see your dentist, they will examine your teeth and do some X-rays to see if Perfect Clear could work for you. We also offer a range of other treatments, so we can discuss other options if this isn’t the perfect match for your orthodontic needs.

The Perks of Perfect Clear Braces

Tuesday, April 14th, 2015

Today, most orthodontic patients come to us with one dream: a beautiful smile with minimal fuss. With Perfect Clear, we can achieve this goal. Perfect Clear braces are a swift, discreet alternative to traditional fixed braces and they could be the ideal solution if you’ve been searching for a system that straightens the teeth with minimal impact on the look of your smile during the treatment phase.

What is Perfect Clear?

Perfect Clear is an invisible brace system that uses custom-made K positioners to straighten the teeth. These positioners are made from high-grade, ultra light clear plastic and they glide onto the teeth in a similar way to a mouth guard worn for sport. Each patient is given a series of clear positioners at the start of their treatment, and these appliances work in order. Each one is slightly different and over time, the teeth move into the correct position.

What are the advantages of Perfect Clear?

The major benefit for most patients is the level of discretion, as these positioners are virtually impossible to spot when you smile. As they are removable, treatment is also very convenient and you can take the positioners out to eat and drink, and brush your teeth as normal. There’s no need to worry about having to navigate a brush around bands and brackets. Many people like the flexibility and freedom of a removable brace.

The results of treatment are another great selling-point. After treatment, you can expect to be greeted with a beautifully straight set of bright pearly whites when you look in the mirror.

Do Perfect Clear braces hurt?

Like all braces, it can take a little white to get used to wearing Perfect Clear aligners. However, these braces use gentle forces and advanced technology to promote patient comfort and once you’ve been wearing your braces for a few days, you’ll barely notice they’re there.

Choose Clear Braces this Christmas in the Centre of Liverpool

Thursday, December 18th, 2014

Christmas is coming and if you’re wishing for a straight smile, our dentists can make your dreams come true. With clear braces, we can straighten the teeth with minimal impact on the look of your smile and no dent in your confidence while you have treatment.

The benefits of clear braces

Clear braces provide a solution for patients who want a straighter smile without worrying about the stigma attached to wearing visible braces. Although braces are very popular nowadays, many people still worry about what others will think or say, panic that they will look completely different and lack confidence in their appearance once the braces are fitted. With clear braces, you can go through treatment without any anxiety about how you, or others, will feel when you smile. Clear braces also offer an alternative to traditional braces for people who work in industries where image is very important or they have to maintain a professional look at all times.

Our clear brace treatments

We have a number of clear brace options available to patients searching for discreet treatments. Our clear braces include:

  • Perfect Clear
  • Invisalign
  • Clearstep
  • CFast

Which clear brace is best for me?

We have a mixture of fixed braces and removable appliances on offer to suit patients with varying needs and different preferences. We can recommend which treatments will be best for you once you have had your consultation and we are aware of the kind of movement that is required and the nature of your orthodontic needs.

It is important for patients to have an initial consultation so that your dentist can assess your needs and determine the severity and nature of your orthodontic issues. Consultations are also a great opportunity for patients to get to know their dentist and to ask any questions they have about treatment. Getting braces can be daunting and most patients have lots of questions. Our dentists will be happy to give you answers and allay any worries or fears you have.

Introducing The Perfect Clear Treatment In The Heart Of Liverpool

Saturday, March 8th, 2014

Orthodontic patients are often concerned about having treatment because of the aesthetic impact of wearing a brace; however, we are proud to offer an array of modern, innovative and discreet treatment options, including Perfect Clear. Perfect Clear is an ideal treatment for those who want an amazing smile without anyone else being able to spot their brace.

What is Perfect Clear?

Perfect Clear is a discreet orthodontic treatment system, which uses a series of specially designed K positioners to gently move the teeth. Each positioner is slightly different and the appliances are worn in a set order.

The K positioners are made from transparent plastic and they sit over the top of the teeth in a similar way to a gum shield worn for sport; they are very light and comfortable and best of all, they are virtually invisible.

Why choose Perfect Clear?

As well as amazing aesthetics, Perfect Clear also offers comfort and convenience, as you can take your positioners out to clean your teeth and eat. Often, it can be difficult to keep fixed braces clean and this increases the risk of decay and gum disease; with Perfect Clear, you simply remove the positioner and clean your teeth in the normal way.

Will Perfect Clear affect my speech?

It is common for the speech to be mildly affected for the first couple of days of treatment; however, you will soon find that your speech returns to normal once you have got used to wearing the positioners.

If you’re looking for a discreet treatment, which will create a perfect, straight smile, call us today to find out more about Perfect Clear treatment at Liverpool Dental Spa.

Clear Orthodontics At Liverpool Dental Spa

Braces get a bad rep. There’s no denying it; it isn’t pleasant, but they do. The logic behind this seems to have gone under the same intellectual rigour as the writing process behind a reality TV programme but, until braces have shaken their cultural shackles, it is understandable that you may demand a little discretion in your orthodontic treatment. Thankfully, as we don’t live in a 1980’s teen comedy, it is possible to have nigh-on invisible brace treatment!

What are Perfect Clear braces?

Perfect Clear is a series of clear plastic aligner which will gradually move your teeth into their desired position.

The advantages of Perfect Clear

First and foremost, they are pretty much invisible. Perhaps the most obvious selling point of clear braces is that no one need know that you are wearing them. There are, however, several other practical advantages which Perfect Clear provides alongside its aesthetic benefits. The most important, perhaps, being that they are removable. No longer will your teeth require special cleaning techniques to work around fixed wire; this is not convenient, but it also helps to keep your teeth free from the plaque and debris which can pile up in hard to reach places. You will also be able to eat without fear of breaking your brace as you can take it out whilst doing so! As there is no wire or elastic to rub against your gums, Perfect Clear braces are far more comfortable than fixed braces and far less likely to cause abscesses. You will also spend less time at a dental practice as you won’t need to have them tweaked!

Will Perfect Clear have any negatives effect on me?

Perfect Clear aligners can have a temporary effect on your speech; patients may experience a slight lisp for a day or so. Your mouth and tongue, however, will quickly adjust to the presence of the aligners and these problems should fade quite quickly.
